Place Description:
- Located in Galuga Village, Cibungbulang, Bogor Regency, 30 kms west of Central Bogor.
Several things that I got there:
At first, this place was only an agricultural zone. But bought by the government in 1982. The place transformed into a landfill until it finished at 1992. The landfill was divided in two zones, it was made to anticipate the frequent landslides in the first zone. The latest landslide was in 2013, after that the trashes are now being transferred into the second landfill zone.
This place also produces compost. It is made from organic trashes from several markets. In this place, the main tools of making compost here was the building, the machines and the people. The production process flow of compost in this place was posted by me in here at the other post.
Screenshots:
The machines that used to grind the trash.
A closer look to the same machine just like in above.
Same machine.
Same machine, but with a different POV.
I think that this is the smaller version of the grinder machine.
Same machine from above.
Lots of packed compost fertilizers.
Another machine that I found in the compost warehouse.
Some scavengers sorting trashes.
The landfill.
Another picture of the landfill, with some agricultural area in the background.
